I was in Tbilisi in the summer and it was a wonderful time. The prices are cheap especially if compared with Europe. The food is very delicious and you can find all the cuisine you want, not just the local ones. I visited many bars with different audiences, some of them were people from the UK, USA, and Europe, and some bars are usually visited by local people. There are many concerts in this city. Public transport is very safe, especially the metro. I used the metro at night and felt pretty well, no creepy strangers or robbers. It's easy to go to any city in this country by train, plane, or bus so you can see the mountains or the black sea 🌊

Tbilisi is extremely inexpensive in my opinion. You can use the metro for 90 mins as cheap as 0.40$. And since I'm a student here I get to travel for 0.08 yesss and I'm not joking. It's great for hiking the caucasus mountains are a must to experience. Overall food not great but good.

September and October are honestly the best time to visit Tbilisi. It’s not too hot anymore, the weather is super comfortable — perfect for walking around and really taking in the city. We went as a big group, but my friend and I often explored places on our own, which was actually really nice. If you want to see more of the city and not feel stuck in the tourist center, I’d recommend staying somewhere near Marjanishvili Square. It’s a bit calmer, but still very central and full of character. Tbilisi feels safe overall, though it’s good to keep in mind that some local men can be a bit patriarchal. We had a bit of catcalling here and there, but nothing too intense — people were mostly super kind and always ready to help. And the food? Incredible. Everything we tried was amazing. Especially the chashushuli, ojakhuri, and this one soup — I wish I remembered the name — but it was so rich and flavorful, I’m still thinking about it.

Tbilisi is a vibrating city with many beautiful places to explore. We really liked the old town, but went to see the less frequent neighbourhoods as well where we also felt safe and comfortable. People are usually nice, and we had several good expreience with transportation (quick answers to our emails, helpful people at public transport etc). Public transport was clean and easy to use. We used marshrutka to travel to Gori, and it was quite easy and safe to do that. To travel to Kutaisi Airport we used Georgian bus, it was easy to book tickets and the bus arrived in time to the Airport. Food was delicious there, even as a vegetarian I was always able to find nice and tasty options. Nature was unbelievably beutiful around us, but unfortunately we hadn’t had enough time to explore the mountens of Georgia, so it is on our bucket list now. The only place where I felt a little bit uncomfortable was the train station, but we arrived at 1:00 AM with a train from Yerevan and that time the station was very empty, so we have caught a taxi quickly (I should add that I’m not a brave person overall, so this can influence my experience). We went back to see the station at daylight and we had a very different experience with it that time.
Posted: September 2, 2024Well, the city is really safe, but here's a lot of homeless people who are asking for money. But views are gorgeous everywhere in tbilisi. Also, if you have some health problems or you are not used to walking, be careful as there're hills everywhere, and it was kinda hard to walk, especially in summer when it's 35° outside

Love the paragliding experience! If you are more in extreme sports and it is your first time. They have a guide to help you go through it. They also have a lot of fortresses if you like to have a european like travel.

I can say that it's a very safe place compared with other countries I've visited, you can walk at night safely here and most of the people are nice and friendly. Taxi drivers are usually friendly. It's better to take taxi by application, can't tell anything about hitch-hiking during the night, probably I'd never do that

Extremely safe as compared to most places I've been. The only issue I faced was pickpocket in crowded areas. Apart from making obvious mistakes such as leaving your things unattended if you take general precautions it's completely safe.
