Hey! I’m Rana — Tunisian by passport, global citizen by heart 💃 Currently living in Tbilisi and surviving med school (barely, send help… or coffee). I speak a few languages, love meeting people from all over the world, and firmly believe that life is better when shared over food, stories, and spontaneous adventures ✈️🥘 Always down to explore a new city, chill at a cute café, or get lost (on purpose) in a place with good vibes and interesting humans. I’m the kind of person who’ll hype you up for your outfit and your dreams 😄 Let’s connect, laugh, and maybe figure out where the best dessert in town is 🍰🌍

Tbilisi is a vibrating city with many beautiful places to explore. We really liked the old town, but went to see the less frequent neighbourhoods as well where we also felt safe and comfortable. People are usually nice, and we had several good expreience with transportation (quick answers to our emails, helpful people at public transport etc). Public transport was clean and easy to use. We used marshrutka to travel to Gori, and it was quite easy and safe to do that. To travel to Kutaisi Airport we used Georgian bus, it was easy to book tickets and the bus arrived in time to the Airport. Food was delicious there, even as a vegetarian I was always able to find nice and tasty options. Nature was unbelievably beutiful around us, but unfortunately we hadn’t had enough time to explore the mountens of Georgia, so it is on our bucket list now. The only place where I felt a little bit uncomfortable was the train station, but we arrived at 1:00 AM with a train from Yerevan and that time the station was very empty, so we have caught a taxi quickly (I should add that I’m not a brave person overall, so this can influence my experience). We went back to see the station at daylight and we had a very different experience with it that time.
Posted: September 2, 2024Well, the city is really safe, but here's a lot of homeless people who are asking for money. But views are gorgeous everywhere in tbilisi. Also, if you have some health problems or you are not used to walking, be careful as there're hills everywhere, and it was kinda hard to walk, especially in summer when it's 35° outside
