It was really nice, and it helps that I actually love the food since I am Cameroonian. Some places are not safe when you are alone but overall, it is a vibrant coastal city with lots of activities to do and amazing people to meet !

How safe is Douala for women?
Not that bad. Douala is most of time afin and good vibe place as long as you watch your self a bit carefully. Also in the night you should not walk alone in the streets. The better is to call a car for your movings.
