How safe is Burgas for female travelers?

Solo travel

I was in Burgas during my first solo trip. Safe, affordable, sandy beaches, friendly people, easily accessible public transportation, and a large number of cheap flights from almost every city.

I see Burgas as a safe city even along the summer season. I haven’t experienced any problems living here two and a half years. As far as I know this city has low level of crime. If you’re tourist just avoid the district called “Meden Rudnik”.

Burgas is safe city in my opinion. We have low crime rate , especially when it comes to violet crime. Most issues involve scams or petty theft , but i think that’s common in tourist areas. Safety tips : 1. just keep an eye on your belongings in crowded areas , like transport, bars etc. 2. use official taxi companies or apps to avoid overcharging.

Well its a quite big city and the area I live in is nice. I have a lot of friends which help me a lot and if anything happens I will have a person i can trust :)) The streets are filled with lights and people and we have a very cute park with a centre.

Burgas is a safe city. There mostly are families and good tourists in the summer. There is a good public transportation and responsible taxi drivers. There are not any scams in the city as long as I’m aware. Overall I would feel safe walking in the dark and going to the sea clubs.
