Is Kessel-Lo safe for solo female travelers?

It’s overall genuinely safe in Leuven (ik this says Kessel-lo but it’s right next to each other) but there are records of SA, theft, harassment, fights. They especially occur at night time around the Oude Markt area, and I would also avoid being alone near Bruul park at night time. It’s not entirely unsafe but it is something to keep in mind. There’s a lot of police cars roaming the streets at night tho. Especially on the known party days like thursdays, fridays, saturdays and holidays but there’s plenty on normal days.
