Is Deinze safe for solo female travelers?

Deinze is generally a very safe place for solo female travelers. Like the majority of Belgium, crime rates are relatively low and it's common to see individuals out and about, even at night. Moreover, people are friendly and ready to offer assistance if needed. However, like any other places, common tourist safety measures such as staying aware of your surroundings and not flaunting expensive items openly should still be practiced.
