About me

My name is Ilef, I’m 20 years old, and I’m passionate about creativity, nature, and community work. I enjoy painting, planting, gardening, writing, and organizing, and I’m a strong communicator. I speak English and Arabic fluently, have a good level of French and Italian, and I’m currently learning Turkish. I love working with children and have hands-on experience with animals and plants, as I own two horses, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs, alongside running my own flower shop and an online thrift store. I have volunteered in several programs in Tunisia, and now I’m excited to volunteer abroad to seek new adventures, connect with new people, and contribute to the community.

Sfax, Solo travel

I was doing a volunteer project for 6 weeks in Sfax. I actually felt safe. People were nice, and I wasn't scammed much, especially compared to more touristic cities in Tunesia. If you want to do a trip around Tunesia it is not really worth it but I can absolutely recommend the Medina in Sfax, it is very beautiful and very cheap.

Djerba Island, Family travel

Djerba was a dream a very beautiful dream. It’s the perfect place for everyone. We went as a family so we’re very grateful for having children activities all the time so we won’t be worried about children while we enjoy our time. The beaches were so clean and beautiful and the markets are amazing and it’s not even that much expensive. We loved the food and the traditional clothes that our host offered us to try also the boat trip that we took. To cap it all, djerba is a really safe place and a great distinction to spend your holiday in.
