Mahdia, Family travel

I stayed in Iberostar Royal El Mansour. It was amazing. The whole hotel grounds are secure, staff is very friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. There was literally everything. I highly recommend the hotel spa as well. There were so many programs as well for example horse riding, caravana (camel riding), watching dolphins in the sea, quad riding, pirate ship trip and you could even rent a small plane but you had to do it with the help of your guide. I mostly used taxis to get around since it was the easiest way but i have to warn you they drive like crazy! (There was also a two day trip around Tunisia and Sahara that we were supposed to attend but couldn’t in the end due to health issues)

Tunisia, Family travel

Overall i think it s safe. I didn’t walk alone at night so i can’t comment on that. There is a lot of activities that you can do like enjoying a hike in the nature, doing cultural activities like visiting museums, the old town to enjoy arabic architecture, visiting mosques etc. The beach is very clean and peaceful. Overall very nice expensive at a low budget. Also people were super friendly and very welcoming.

Bizerte, Solo travel

I lived 3 months in Tunisia, Tunis so I decided to go one day in Bizerte to meet another vegan friend. We didn’t do much.We ate and drank something. There s a special dish vegan friendly called lablebi sandwich. Food is very affordable. The sea amazing. I bought some music CD which I adore. Usually the taxi is shared and inexpensive. But you need more local guidance.

Tunisia, Solo travel

My solo trip to Tunisia was okay, but many of my tours got cancelled. I'm hoping to go again and have a better experience. The pirate ship was fun, and the hotel staff were amazing. I would like to see more of Tunisia. I plan on visiting again in November 2023.
