Hi, I'm Angela. I am a university student who likes to travel. What inspires me is to learn more and more, I feel that from every experience you have, you always take something with you. Traveling for me means living, you live every moment of your trip, you see things and places that you have never seen before.

I loved the Nature around Tarapoto! I stayed with Friends so i cant say something about Hostels But i Heard there are some good ones. You can easily get around in motocar (5 soles If its another quadra) and it should be mostly save at daytime (bei carefull at night ans also in quiet far away areas in the city) The food you can buy On the Corners like Maduro con queso y maní oder das Getränk Aguachina are perfekt (you need to be carefull tho because it Is streetfood) there are also nice Restaurants Like blue elephant and Panda to eat Makis and the vegetarian Menu on jirón Ramírez Hurtado is nice, you get a Lot for the price. Also recommend to Drink Coconut water. On the markets you can try Lots of different food and fruits. Visiting Centro Urku (animal rescue Center) and the natural Parc that comes when you follow the Same Road to the end (to hike waterfall or top of the beautiful Mountains) are recommended! Near to the Center you can go partying in Calle de las piedras (stonewasi with live Rock music, Cava, Karaoke Bars, ...) Or you Go More far to the Discothek (papipoint/ Anaconda) Tarapoto definetly Is my Favorite place On earth i Hope you get to see why! <3
Posted: March 7, 2025Experienced: July, 2024In Peru I felt safe in general, although I think is because I chose good neighbours to stay, for example in Lima I stayed in Miraflores. If you go to Peru you need to try Ceviche, Ají de Gallina, canchitas, among others. I went for 10 days: 2 in Lima, 3 in Huaraz (If I go again I'd go for 5 days to aclimate before doing trekkings that are around 4600 km of height), then 3 days Machu Picchu and 2 days Lima. It was enough to see the best of Peru, but If I could I'd have stayed longer and see more of that beautiful country.

Hey, I’m Lauren, 29, from a small town near Norwich, UK. I live for spontaneous travel and never miss an opportunity to pack my bags for a last-minute adventure abroad! I love solo traveling and meeting people with the same carefree, adventurous spirit as mine. I'm the last one standing in my friend group without the “big three”—a partner, a house, or kids/a puppy—and I’m totally cool with that! E mbracing the freedom to explore the world on my own terms. ✈️🌍
