I did a solo trip in machu pichu/peru in Septerber of 2024. It was very expensive to do it by train, maybe it would be less if I walked the path into it. The experience was marvelous, I don't have many words to use for it, ir was amazing, all the history and the views, I recommend very much get an guide to visit machu pichu. I didn't got one and missed it too much. I felt safe the hole time, in the train the bus, até the restaurants, the arts gallery.

Overall I felt safe,as I walked the streets late at night and it was very fine. In generell ,I feel that men look at me often and depending on my mood I get angry by it fast or not... but there werent many that talked to me and I often just keep walking if they what more than a "hola". I loved just walked around in Barranco Seeing the streetart and going inti the free art galleries on the street down to the beach. The beach is also nice for long walks, you can walk to Miraflores,too,I love that!!! I cooked foood mostly in tze lovley hostel I was at, and I bought mostly everythig in the supermarket as I frel most comportable with it. In the market on the streets you can get fruut and vegetebles more special and cheaper also. I stay in the Hostel Passión d Corazón!I volunteered there also to pay less for staying there. I loved it! The peole there a very friendly and it is really trustful and family-like.

One of my best experiences in life traveling alone. Peru is incredible, amazing food and people. So many places to visit that I could spend months and wouldn’t be able to see everything. I would definitely recommend.

If Peru isn’t in your bucket list, I would add it. Peru took me by surprise as, at the time, I had never seen such beauty. I used the tour company called Peru Hop and i absolutely loved the style of travel. They are essentially a full service company and your personal body guards lol I spent a week exploring starting in Lima, spent a night in each new city, learned about their rich culture and biodiversity, and of course visited Machu Picchu. You’ll love it.
