I went in 2016, so I felt relatively safe. It was with a large, organized group, so there were other people around at all times. We stayed in a hotel and then mostly explored the city on foot. This city is truly unique and I will never forget my visit. There is so much to explore and admire, the three days we stayed felt insufficient. I would absolutely recommend you visit.

Jerusalem is a city with great history, so I’ll just make a few recommendations regarding the edperience Cinema hostel is a very friendly enviroment where you can find affordable accomodation. The bakery right in front of it is amazing. Try not to visit the old city on thursday evening because of shabbat. That’s it <3

Hi, I’m Mary. I travel whenever I can, though my studies have temporarily clipped my wings. Spontaneity is my compass—it’s more rewarding to follow curiosity than a rigid itinerary. History captivates me because it reveals the brilliance and blunders of humanity in equal measure. My taste in music leans toward the enduring and evocative—the kind that speaks to the soul rather than simply filling the silence. I also hold fast to the belief that kindness to strangers isn’t just good manners; it’s a quiet acknowledgment that everyone carries a perspective, a story, or a truth I’ve yet to discover.
