Located on the southeastern coast of India, Visakhapatnam, fondly known as Vizag, is one of the oldest port cities in the country. Nestled amidst the hills of the Eastern Ghats and facing the vast Bay of Bengal, it boasts a beautiful blend of scenic nature, ancient history, and vibrant culture. Well-known for its pristine beaches including Rama Krishna Beach and Yarada Beach, Vizag also boasts the magnificent Kailasagiri hill and the intricate architecture of Simhachalam Temple. The Submarine Museum and Visakha Museum are prominent attractions, offering glimpses into the city's maritime history. Being an industrial hub, Vizag also showcases a bustling city life filled with shopping, food, and entertainment, making it a perfect place for explorers and leisure travelers alike.

Vizag is my hometown so yeah I have a soft spot for this place but for travelling it takes more time than any other state like from ahemdabad to Andhra it takes around 2 days in train.
The place is safe but at night I would recommend carrying safety tools and stuff.
It's a great place and many places are there to hangout, and visit..
