Is Central Finland safe for female travelers?
Solo travel
Finland is very safe overall. Cars and trams will stop for you to cross the streets. I've felt safe traveling alone. There are lights in the forest until 10pm (in the winter). For traveling I'd recommend using omnibus, it's cheaper than the trains. The food is not bad, just tasteless. But I'd definitely recommend trying the Fazer chocolate 😋
