I’m 22 years old and I’m currently living in Cuba (my birth country) Soon I’ll be going to Uruguay. I’m a community manager with a love for art, indie music and books. Social butterfly but also a little introvert, if it makes sense. Love to meet new people and experience different cultures.

Cuba is a much underrated country. It has so much to offer culture wise. The people are very friendly. It’s common to stay at peoples private houses, therefore one supports the locals. The food was great and I can’t say anything bad about Cuba. However as a woman I wouldn’t travel solo again because men are very forward in approaching and flirting.

Cuba was an amazing adventure. I entered homes as a guest and left as family. I saw beauty and hardship. I was overwhelmed by warmth and kindness. My new & temporary family and neighbors watched out for me, we shared stories and laughs. I ate amazing food. I experienced delight. I couldn’t see it all in one week, so I will definitely return. ❤️ I stayed in a Casa Particulare with a family and loved this experience. My Spanish was very limited and my host helped me with getting taxis and, in general, had the whole neighborhood watching out for me. I felt very safe the entire time traveling solo. The Cuban people are warm, friendly, and welcoming.
