Overlooked by many foreigners, mostly locals travel to Northeast Brazil. Definitely recommend visiting Olinda, very small cute historic town also had a big carnaval festival every year different to Rio. The music is great - you’ll hear Forro and Briga everywhere which is also different to Rios samba / Pagode / baile funk vibe and driving further down south there are great beaches, can also do horse riding by the beach and surfing which I loved
