Very safe to walk around at all times, leaving your bike in public, being on the beach, interacting with locals. Everyone was very eager to help, I didn’t feel any weird glances from anyone. People were at most interested about my trip

Hoi An is generally very safe for (solo) female travellers. Locals are very welcoming and friendly and I've never experienced a situation where I felt I was in danger. I advise to take normal precautions such as paying more attention when alone at night time or going out to a bar by yourself.
