Hi, I am Lena and turned 18 this year:) I’ve always loved traveling and really want to start solo traveling because i love the freedom of doing all the things i love and i want to be able to enjoy them also by myself not only when i’m with people. even if it’s obvv great to experience things with other people! I love the thought of being independent and free:) I live near zurich, but as its a small town probably no one knows i always tell people i’m from zurich. I have a cat. I love her to death and all in all i’m a BIG cat person. I don’t think i would be me without my little lovely cat:)

Very safe overall, especially in the main part of the city. Me personally, I never feel unsafe. You can also walk at evenings/nights. Never witnessed a crime or anything. Just be careful around train stations and keep to yourself.
Posted: November 24, 2025Nothing to be afraid of, it is a very safe city where also women can walk alone at night. In general the crime rates in Switzerland are very low and there is nothing that you have to be or should be afraid of.
Posted: November 13, 2025Zurich is very safe for girls, even during the night, you can always take public transports or you can walk around alone and usually nobody is bothering you. In general all Switzerland is a very safe country
Posted: October 27, 2025You can be out at night alone as a woman without a problem. Of course there are a few people that behave strange or are weird. But in general you don‘t need to bee scared. Crimes almost never happen, like pick-pocketing doesn‘t happen very often. Keep an eye on dour belongings but you don‘t have to hold on to them tighly all the time. People are kind and friendly around Zurich, so if you need any help judt ask someone.
