Is Malmo safe for women?

The feeling of safety differs based on where in Malmö you go. There are some neighborhoods that are known to be more unsafe (such as Rosengård, Lindängen and Fosie) and while that may be true, at least to some extent, it’s not super-unsafe to be there during daytime. I would, however, avoid going there when it’s dark outside.
