Hi, I’m Meruert from Kazakhstan, now living in Bratislava. I enjoy discovering new places, good coffee, and simple moments that make life feel real. I’ve been working in hospitality for several years — coffee and people are a big part of my world. I’ve joined barista and latte art competitions, and I love sharing what I know with others. I speak Kazakh, Russian, Slovak, and English, and I like learning about different cultures and stories. I’m easygoing, curious, and open-minded. Traveling for me is not just about visiting places, but about feeling the atmosphere and connecting with people. If you like calm energy, good talks, and spontaneous plans — we’ll probably get along ☕🌍

Hey! I’m a student of puppetery and acting in Slovakia. ✨ Currently I’m visiting Milan, and am up to receiving any tips for what to see in there or where else to travel in Italy. If you’re looking for some travel buddy, feel free to hit me up! ⭐️
In the city centre there’s a high probability to see people under the influence. Some homeless men are too. But they are chill and not aggressive. If you come to Bratislava by bus, I would recommend to go until the stop Bus Station “Mlinsky Nivy” (under the central mall, where all FlixBus and other companies are), because its located in the mall, there’s a lot of security, light and toilets

i’ve lived here for 5 years and i feel safe walking alone in the evening or at night, did that a lot of times, basic precautions should be taking into account though. i would recommend trying to stay out of dark, “dead” areas at night, not talking to strangers and of course not getting into anyone’s car unless it’s a taxi (i personally am anxious and i don’t like taking taxis alone, but we have a lot of buses and trams circulating around the city almost all the time so it’s a great option too). other than that, it’s a pretty safe city
