Hello! My name is Katarina and I’m 23 years old. I was born in Serbia but I grew up in Slovakia. When I finished high school I went to study in Czechia. I didn’t really like it so I decided not to continue. Now I’m travelling while I’m trying to figure out what I would like to do with my life haha.

Hey, I am a young slovak girl, living her big girl life already. Besides my corporate full time job and external studies I am trying to travel as much as possible. If you will plan to go to Bratislava, feel free to contact me, I can show you around the city, which means I can show you the best coffee places and bakeries 🤭

Hi, My name is Hanka, and I'm from Slovakia. Every now and then, I like to escape the everyday routine of being a mom and a business owner to explore new cities, countries, and cultures. I'm very open and energetic, and I love being outdoors. I'm always ready for a good conversation. I've been studying various psychotherapeutic approaches for 9 years and have gone through a significant healing process. I'm also a skilled gardener with a wide range of interests and knowledge due to my never-ending curiosity about life. Sometimes, I can't help but marvel at the beauty of life :).

I'm not a regular tourist (who googles top 10 attractions at tripadvisor). I'm a cool tourist and would much rather spend my days in a new city by doing things with locals. Fluent in English & yapping 😄 Love music, dancing, painting, basically arts in any form. Big fan of beach time, hikes, thrift stores, art galleries, local markets. Huge dog lover, would walk your dog for sure. As a Taurus I'm a living proof that we love to eat & nap. I'm creating events in Slovakia, mostly music ones cause I'm DJing. And recently came up with a speed-date concept for meeting people offline. 3 random facts: My last hangover was so bad, l'm sober for 2.5 years since then. Spiritual, might hit you with some crystal or some wisdom. I once went to Rio for 2 weeks and ended up staying almost 3 months.

First of all, I would like to say that it is a very safe place for solo travel. Prices are not too high compared to other European cities. Their most famous dish is similar to halusky niyokki. you can try. Slavin, Slovak National Gallery, Blue Church, Bratislava Castle, Devin Castle are the places you should definitely go. 2 days will be enough to visit the whole city. It was pretty easy to find the buses with google maps. local people were very helpful. They generally know English. In summary, it is a place where you can go and see, but you should not keep expectatiın very high.
Posted: July 15, 2024Experienced: May, 2024It’s really safe for solo traveler to travel in their capital city, there’s not much things to do in Bratislava, I recommend to take a bus 20mins to a small town , there is a meditation circle on the hill of the town which is really amazing!
