I’m Maryanne from Norway but currently backpacking in Asia. I have done a lot of solo travelling, primarily in Latin America, but also India and different places in Europe, including my own country. I also studied in the UK for 3 years. I love meeting new people and have met so many lovely people while solo travelling and people travelling to Norway. Is Stavanger safe for women?
Stavanger is very safe city. During 1,5 years nothing happened to me. I heard that area around main train stadion can be dangerous when is dark. During weekends it a lot of drunkies in centrum but also a lot of Police and security.
