Please note: I do not host. I am 50+ Tokyo native working for a global media company. I have lived in Australia and C么te d'Ivoire/Ivory Coast over 9 years, started travelling solo 2 years ago. I am kind of new to travel for leisure, and trying to have a hang of it. I am planning another trip to Sweden in June. It will be my first trip to Scandinavia and look forward to it. I love live musics, films, reading, visiting museums and dancing.

Nina
Tokyo
Hello, I am Nina. Currently a graduate student in Tokyo, majoring linguistics in general. Feel free to reach out to me. If you want to go clubbing but feel a bit shy, hit me up.
It felt very safe, especially using the public transport system and the female only trains :). I felt pretty comfortable walking around by myself and checking my phone while walking for directions etc.
Posted: November 21, 2025Pretty safe compared to other countries. You can walk around alone, you won鈥檛 get robbed. People even will bring lost things to the nearest police stations, so if you lose something there鈥檚 a high chance of getting it back. Of course you hear about sexual harassment cases on public transport etc. so it does exist. I personally never saw it happening though.
