About me

I’m Dutch and have been living in Dublin for almost 10 years! I live with my buddy Charlie 🐈‍⬛ I love doing, trying and learning new things and meeting new people. I’m very creative and love meeting other creative people. I’d love to show you around and tell you about all the little things you might not find in travel guides. Personally, I’m planning a big trip for 2027, which will hopefully take me to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Hawaii.

About me

Hii Im Maha a 25 year old Lebanese doctor with a big love for travel, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures. I’m also a bit of a foodie and always up for trying local dishes (the more adventurous, the better!). When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors hiking, exploring nature, or planning my next adventure. I think stepping out of your comfort zone, whether in medicine or travel, is where real growth happens.

Is Dublin safe for women?

Dublin is a European city, safer than others, but with many drug addicts and young kids committing minor crimes and picking on people. I would avoid certain zones, especially at night, like around the main train stations and Tallaght. The South areas (Rathmines, Ranelagh) are generally safer.

I would prefer to be out during the day than during the night. Unfortunately people in the city are becoming more racist because of social/political opinions. I would recommend speaking English where possible to avoid racial abuse in public as people have been targeted when speaking a different language.
