Is Cork safe for women?
There’s a lot of creeps around certain areas like north of the city and around bus stations, apart from that, it’s generally safe. Like any city, you always have to keep your phone and valuables out of site while walking to avoid getting pickpocketed. I wouldn’t say that it’s super common but there’s a lot of drug addicts around the city who will try to take a phone if they see it in a pocket.
Posted: June 18, 2025Its grand - the most Irish thing you can say. I take the bus and walk home from work some days. Bus drivers are mostly pleasant late at night however they can be really late some days. Watch out for those randomly walking and you know they are on something
