About me

Hi I'm Reeta! I am 21 and a student in Rovaniemi, Finland. I'll be an elementary school teacher when I graduate! I am incredibly obsessed with Conan Gray and am planning on doing a little interrail trip across Europe when he comes here for his Wishbone World Tour in May. I'm not yet sure how many concerts I can afford to go to but my current plan is to follow him starting from Sweden and maybe ending in Poland. Time will tell, I don't even know the tour dates yet.

About me

I'm Annu from the Finnish Lapland, born in the 90's and doing my Master of Arts at the university of lapland. I create plans, designs and concepts! I live for (film) photography, were it wandering in city sceneries, hiking in the woods, stumbling up a mountain or just chilling on the beach. With a good company, any moment will become a precious memory on the film! On my free time apart from arts, I actively do bouldering, cycle, swim, dive, crochet and cook vegetarian meals. When travelling, I'm a passionate person looking for mountains and bodies of water to fill my thirst for adventure. Historical sites, neolithic to modern architecture and churches are my first go-to when visiting a new place. In cities I like to take it chill, visit market places and antique/second hand stores and find cozy cafés and restaurants to have a restful moment.

Is Rovaniemi safe for women?

Reeta

I mean Finland in general is considered pretty safe. People can leave out their stuff to save a seat for themselves and no one will steal things. Except for bicycles, they will be stolen and broken if not locked. I've personally never been afraid of walking alone in the dark, I find it very calming and peaceful. If you walk by a bar at night you might hear some cat calling from drunk men but I've never experienced anything worse than that.

For me Rovaniemi has been safe, I feel comfortable walking in the evenings as well. I have heard that in bars it’s not always safe, spikings of drinks can happen, so that is something to be careful about.
