My goal is to do more spontaneous trips instead of structured agency tours. I work as a translator for the central bank of Albania since 2021. I have a versatile working experience. My aim is to develop new skills, and venture into a new occupation to make an income. I have been single for seven years. I travel for fun and leisure, and mostly for work related projects. I lived in Canada for most of my twenties.

Hi! I’m Lisa. I started traveling this year and I’m so excited about it! At the same time, I also started learning English, so I’m not yet completely fluent. Laura studied Albanian language and literature and later pursued a master's degree in European law. Over the years, she worked in various sectors of the administration, serving as a director in the Municipality of Tirana, head of the project office at the General Directorate of Taxes, and at BKT (Banka Kombëtare Tregtare). Since 2011, she has been the director of the organization "Open Doors", through which she designs and implements European and international cooperation projects focused on empowering women and young people. She is also a lecturer at the University of Tirana, in the Faculty of Social Sciences, where she teaches project management. Her hobbies include traveling and exploring new cultures. This passion has led her to visit 44 countries around the world, where she has experienced the traditions and customs of different European and Asian peoples. Energetic, passionate about life, and driven by clear missions, Laura's motto is: "If your dream only includes you, then it is too small." Always on the move, she lives by this philosophy in her daily life.

Is Tirana safe for women?
Tirana is the capital city of Albania and you find all kind of people there. Anyways in all these years I’ve been living here, I have never felt unsafe. There are enough weirdos walking in every street but they seem harmless. I feel safe here and wouldn’t be worried of anyone or anything.
