Hi! My name is Klea and I am from Albania. This past year I’ve gotten too much into traveling but I got tired of waiting for people so I decided to take my first solo trip:) I am mostly an outdoor person, but on the other hand I do like me a good club. I like spontaneous decisions and like living on the spot

I just joined this app, seems a cool way to connect to fellow travelers and find some help and advice on best activities to do while in a foreign city. My goal is to do more spontaneous trips instead of structured agency tours. I work as a translator for the central bank of Albania since 2021. I have a versatile working experience. My aim is to develop new skills, and venture into a new occupation to make an income. I have been single for seven years. I travel for fun and leisure, and mostly for work related projects. I lived in Canada for most of my twenties.

Honestly I felt very safe The only part of the town that felt off was near the bridge on the way to the lake, there were some buildings in poor condition with not very nice men saying some stuff as I passed by. But I was on a bicycle (recommend the same, otherwise it’s too much to walk), and it didn’t bother it at all even though it was in the evening In the center of the town it was very good, also at night

I found Albania relatively safe. Since I came from Rio de Janeiro, I always end up being very careful on the streets, just like I do at home. Like not walking alone at night, not using cellphones too much on the street, etc. I didn't see anything too serious and I even found the people to be quite polite. But I've always been careful.
Posted: August 16, 2025Its one of the least scary citys in Albania. And its fairly safe for woman. You will experience lots of catcalling tho. I suggest asking female locals questions if you have some for the city or even asking for their helo if you feel like you are being followed. We got your back!
