I think it's better not to walk alone at night. there are a lot of drunk people in the city center. there are a lot of dogs on the outskirts. I think only tourists can be unsafe. women are often mistaken for prostitutes. Cab rides seem to be quite safe
Posted: December 25, 2024First of all I would like to say that I would not recommend visiting Pattaya as a women. Because there is a lot of sextourism you do not feel so safe in the city. Furthermore there are mostly old men as tourists. Nevertheless the food is, like to thai food in general, very good. We had a lot of pad thai and other delicious snacks from street markets. A place I really recommend visiting is the temple sanctuary truth!!
