I used to walk at night and felt very safe. There is a super low crime level and tourist police always check in so the whole community is very good there especially for foreigners as there aren’t many you won’t be a target.

I worked at a school for 6 weeks and stayed at the hotel next to the rajhabat (university) the area is so so safe and locals are just amazing. There are very few foreigners but the locals made it feel like home. I will be going back again this year!
