Is Barranco safe for solo female travelers?

Overall I felt safe,as I walked the streets late at night and it was very fine. In generell ,I feel that men look at me often and depending on my mood I get angry by it fast or not... but there werent many that talked to me and I often just keep walking if they what more than a "hola". I loved just walked around in Barranco Seeing the streetart and going inti the free art galleries on the street down to the beach.
