I didn’t notice any problems in Podgorica. It seems to be pretty safe. I’m a foreigner here too, I moved to Podgorica in July 2024 and since that time I didn’t face any issues or security problems. Come here and feel safe.

Podgorica is very safe for women! You might get stares from men/people. But other than that, you don't need to be afraid. I'm pretty sure catcalling doesn't happen to foreigners 😅 Sometimes guys would do it here, but I don't think it happens to foreigners, cus the guys who do it are dumb, and don't speak foreign languages anyways 😅

I came here to move to Podgorica. It’s not a bad city for living, but not the best too. I wouldn’t recommend it to travel, maybe just as a one time trip to eat cheap than on the coast side. I recommend you to eat in Pod volat or Ðedovina. Those restaurants are not that expensive, but it’s good there and tasty. Podgorica is cheaper than many other places (for renting an apartment for instance), but it’s also not that beautiful and interesting.
