I came here to move to Podgorica. It’s not a bad city for living, but not the best too. I wouldn’t recommend it to travel, maybe just as a one time trip to eat cheap than on the coast side. I recommend you to eat in Pod volat or Ðedovina. Those restaurants are not that expensive, but it’s good there and tasty. Podgorica is cheaper than many other places (for renting an apartment for instance), but it’s also not that beautiful and interesting.
Posted: February 19, 2025Things to do: - Visit the Avanturisticki Park trail - Tour the Crkva Svetog Dorda - Walk on the Millennium bridge - Eat traditional food from Montenegro Safety: I felt very safe. Recommendations: Podgorica is fine, but the real charm of Montenegro is hidden on the coast.

Podgorica in general is very known as a safe city. Sometimes bad things do happen such as traffic accidents or fights but comparing to the rest of the world it is quite safe to walk alone at nights. You can count on locals for whatever you need, they are very welcoming and warm people who would always offer any help in case someone needs it.

I didn’t notice any problems in Podgorica. It seems to be pretty safe. I’m a foreigner here too, I moved to Podgorica in July 2024 and since that time I didn’t face any issues or security problems. Come here and feel safe.

Hi, I am Simona 🌸 I am an adventurous and curious person who loves spending time outdoors. I enjoy activities like picnics, kayaking, exploring new places, and learning new things. I have a deep interest in metaphysics and astrology, which inspire me to think beyond the physical world. I'm also a big animal lover — I have two cats and a dog who are a big part of my life. Reading about psychology is one of my favorite ways to relax, and I’m always excited about the next opportunity to travel and experience different cultures.
