It is a small city and people are really nice and warm. During summer season there are small ee crimes like pickpocketing but overall it is a safe place. It is mostly family and couples coming over and no need to worry that much. But after all anything can happen so still be aware
Posted: March 13, 2025You can walk around alone night time, people are all kind and respectful. Never worry about intruders. I don't even lock the apartment door. You can even see young girls sitting at the park and chatting during night.
Posted: January 30, 2025Herceg Novi is a quaint little town. It has some pebble beaches and nice caffes. No major supermarkets. Things to do/see: Savina monastery, boat tour. Very hilly - prepare to walk a lot of stairs. Very safe.
