Higashikawa is a wonderful, small town in the heart of Hokkaido. It's safe, the locals are so nice and kind, very welcoming to foreigners. There are a lot of people who love cultural exchanging, music, art, and traveling. Women can be safe in this beautiful town, enjoy hiking, snowboarding, skiing, nature of this beautiful place. I love this town from the bottom of my heart.
