For me Tvilisi is the safest cuty, everywhere are some weird people with weird comments, but I have not heard or felt anything bad here. You can walk alone in city center without worry, people are friendly and helpful
Posted: February 2, 2025The main streets are very safe whether it is day or night. However there is a little more chance to be someone crazy walking in the dark streets outside the main squares and avenues. Most of the Georgians are hospitable, love tourists and foreigners. However, sometimes older generations are a bit homophobic. They might stare or say something, it is very rare for someone to attack foreigners in Tbilisi.
Posted: January 26, 2025It’s quite safe town, don’t even remember the last time any crime happened here, town is small and people know each other, so they respect everyone. Town is great in any season, strongly recommended.
Posted: January 26, 2025most of the time , its safe city especially at midday, or if you are using public transport or public places, but at night , streets are narrow and little bit dark if its not the main ones, there are also dangerous regions , which i wouldn’t recommend visit, there are weird people there, overall you are safe , but its best if you know your way around and you are not alone 🫶
Posted: January 20, 2025I had few incidents and creepy people are there who stare. But it depends on time and location i guess and I hope you have safe when you get anywhere Make ur surroundings clear and safe and be with people or crowds
Posted: January 15, 2025In Tbilisi, there are many different types of people, yet it is one of the safest cities in Georgia. I frequently walk around the city at night, and I have never had the feeling of being kidnapped or anything like that.

Tbilisi is a really safe city, especially now. Sometimes bad things happen, but this is very rare, especially when compared to other countries. The only thing that is the most common to happen to you as tourists is that they can sell some kind of activity (like riding a boat, driving an electric car, etc.) for an insane price. Although, I always say - a woman is never 100% safe, even at home. So anyway ladies, be careful, don't trust strange people. Also : now in the center of the city there are protests, the police are firing tear gas, people are being chased away with water cannons. Not that I'm saying not to go there, if you want to support protesters - this is a warning to you - wear special eye and respiratory protection, and keep a saline with you.
Posted: January 9, 2025Overall, i think Tbilisi is safe city for woman, i have never been in danger even though i usually walk alone at night. Because of that i think its also good destination for solo travelers. Also, u can see police cars everywhere.
Posted: January 4, 2025People are nice and welcoming. Walking around in the night isn't a problem. Mostly, nobody cares about what others are doing, but people get judgy when wearing something too revealing they take it as a disrespect to yourself and others. At this time protests are going on but it's very safe. And people are taking care of each other
Posted: January 2, 2025It's safer than other places. There's no stealing, no robbing, nothing like that. As a local, I feel it's safe. I'm not sure about tourists, but I don't think it's unsafe. Walking at night isn't scary, so in general, I'd rate the safety as 8/10.

Drink mineral natural sparkling water. Spa retreat. See if you can meet someone that shows you some relative doing the traditional dance !! They are proud of it, it's a beautiful expression of their culture and it means a lot !
