I think Tbilisi is not safe when you are a girl and walking alone, especially in dark, I often have to walk alone but I always go to places with a lot of people to always feel protected from creeps. I wish all the girlies safe travel and safe life ❤️

Tbilisi is quite safe place for tourists, especially in touristic places such as city center, which is quite a large territory. I think normally you would feel safe in suburbs of the city, too but it's better for your peace of mind to be a little cautious during the night time, if you need to go through suburb places of the city. Also be aware of stray dogs, they are mostly taken care of, but personally i'm afraid of dogs and that would be important fact to know when travelling to new cities. ❤️

I would say that in the center of the city and “good/rich” neighborhoods it is quite safe, especially during the day. In more distant areas it can be more dangerous, but me or people I know don’t have bad experience, so I can’t say for sure

Personally I’ve never been a victim of any assault, I’ve never been robbed or anything, however I’ve heard from friends that their phone got stolen or were touched inappropriately. As I know they don’t happen often. Usually I don’t walk in streets at night, so can’t say much about a nighttime, but at a daytime I feel pretty safe and don’t really worry about much, but still the chances are never 0 of such stuff happening so be careful. Stay safe<3

Georgia is pretty safe country for women I will say this, but you still have to be careful around public markets, many cashiers willing to change tourists more. young man will not harass women but older aged men are sometimes angry if you wear revealing clothes so just ignore them if you come across one
Posted: March 4, 2025Tbilisi is like an old woman who is always happy to host everyone. Touristy places are alive most of the night, so I don't think you should worry. However, be aware of your surroundings if you are outside the city center, as crime and theft are a bit high in those neighborhoods. As everywhere, be safe and take care.

Tbilisi is pretty safe overall, especially in central areas of the city. I often walk around alone after midnight in Vake-Saburtalo district (close to the city center) and I haven’t had any unpleasant experience. However, you might feel a bit unsafe in suburban areas or around central stations at night.

My first solo trip was to Georgia, and the experience was incredible. The people were extremely friendly, and I never felt unsafe at any point. I even met amazing locals who kindly hosted me in their home, making my journey even more memorable.

Well walking alone at night was actually safer than I thought. Every one is minding their own business, so i did too. In Need of help? Ask a stranger and he will be happy to help. Doesn’t matter if it is day or night time.
Posted: February 13, 2025For me Tvilisi is the safest cuty, everywhere are some weird people with weird comments, but I have not heard or felt anything bad here. You can walk alone in city center without worry, people are friendly and helpful

I did not come across any crime here. We went for the Christmas holiday. It was very nice and fun. The people are friendly, they are just a little weak in the language. If you know Russian and Georgian, you can communicate very easily, but many shopkeepers do not know English, but they are still eager to communicate with body language. And don't forget that the Starbucks here is not the real Starbucks.

I travel with friends. We was good spend time: was going at Riza lake, try Rafting, saw mountains, swimming at sea. It's was my first time at Abhazia. We are enjoying the weather, food and wine. It's was a good experience.

Hello! I’m a 19-year-old CS&AI student from Tbilisi, Georgia. I’d love to meet foreign girls and make new friends! I’m always up for showing people around and taking them to some of the most special and beautiful spots in my country. I love cats, cosmetics and computers, if you’re interested in any of these, count me in 🫶
