Baku is very safe, I walk around at night all the time and never felt not safe. Guys do not approach you or cat call you. Also public transport is safe to ride as well as taxi. So, woman should not be afraid of walking around alone.
Posted: May 24, 2025There are no problems with security here and there can be none. Everything is very comfortable. I haven't had any problems with this and I don't believe I will. People are caring and respectful. 👍👍👍
Posted: May 1, 2025I walked around in the evening, never got catcalled or even uncomfortable stares, felt very safe even in the small streets of the old town. People seem very caring especially about women travelling alone.
Posted: April 15, 2025I would say the city is very safe and I usually come home at night times, after 10 o’clock, to 1 am. And I would say I didn’t experienced anything except 1 time. An unknown car stopped and waited for me at 12, but I ran away. So l just suggest you to be cautious and careful, otherwise l wouldn’t worry much.

It was good; the food was amazing. I felt safe because it’s a Muslim country, and the people are good. Azerbaijan has beautiful nature, and what I love most are the food and the people. Baku is also beautiful; the night view of Baku is amazing.
