Heeeey!!I’m Lara 🙋♀️ I’m 17 and basically obsessed with everything international — travel, cultures, languages, people… you name it. ✈️🌍 Every chance I get, I’m either planning my next trip or already packing for one.I’ve been traveling regularly with my family since I was a kid (Spain is our second home at this point 🇪🇸💛), and solo travel doesn’t scare me either — I spent a whole year in Italy as a foreign exchange student, and honestly? It changed my life. completely. That year taught me so much — how to be independent, confident, and flexible in new situations. I came back speaking fluent Italian 🇮🇹 and with even more motivation to explore the world. Is Hungary safe for female travelers?

The transportation was pretty good, and I felt mostly safe, even in a taxi. The attractions were great, I also visited some bars, the vibes were excellent. I stayed with a friend, so I can't say anything about hotel prices, but about prices in general, it was all very cheap.

It was my first solo trip, and even i was a bit exceptical about how good it was going to be, last day i cried and i was wondering if all solo trip could be as good as that first one. I choose this city as my first solo trip because it was europe, it whats a short trip and the people i knew that have already been there told me it was safe and easy to move without knowing the native language. And that was it, everyone knew english and it was so easy enjoing the city by myself. 100% recomended to start traveling solo.
