About Me

The one thing I love about traveling is experiencing something new. Although I am always looking for the next adventure, I'm actually a homebody. I like the balance. I have traveled mostly in Asian and a bit of Europe. Now I want to see Africa and South America.

Solo travel experience

A 24-hour stop in Beijing, but enough to get to know the city. I was unlucky to be in a heavy smog, but nevertheless the walk was beautiful. A big plus is low prices, the staff at the hotel / restaurant / store speak English and a convenient and understandable metro, minus very long distances, from point A to point B, you need to walk from 30 minutes to an hour (although it seems close on the map), strong smog, without a normal VPN, you can not get to the Internet. An interesting experience, I would be glad to return to China again)

Family travel experience

Beijing is the capital of China. It is a big city. There is a lot of history in Beijing. There are a few attractions. The Great Wall of China, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, jade street market etc. My favorite is the Great Wall. You may not know there are more than one Great Wall.

Solo travel experience

I went alone to Beijing in July. The subway there is fantastic and easy to understand. I didn't have any problems, I wasn't worried about safety. I loved watching the giant pandas at the local zoo, the Summer Palace was great. I practically visited everything, except the Great Wall of China, by subway. The Great Wall is the only thing for which I booked a tour. The most important tip is to get a VPN before leaving, which will allow you to use things like Google and Facebook when you're there.
