Solo travel experience
I was meant to go to Vienna with a friend but she unfortunately couldnโt make the trip, so I decided to carry on the trip solo and I am so glad I did. Vienna is one of the safest places Iโve travelled solo, and even better, I made friends along the way. The baroque architecture is gorgeous and I would definitely want to live here. As for the food, went for a delicious vegan Wiener Schnitzel for dinner upon my arrival and then had a Kรคsespรคtzle the next day for lunch. I recommend going for a city tour and then checking out one of the museums. Belvedere Palace is a must, a lovely museum inside and out. Even though I went in January, the weather was mild albeit windy. Iโd still recommend going during that time as well if youโre looking for a winter city break getaway!

I felt safe in Vienna,mostly a calm city. If you are gonna visit for the first time, easy choice. But if you are a little bit adventurous, can be unsuitable. Except that, great buildings, museums and bakeries. Easy to get around,download a map,you will be find,easy to get a sim card.

I am Mia from Germany, I study cultural education and am a theatre maker. I also studied music for a bit however I wouldnโt call myself a musician more an enthusiast. I love love love to dance. I enjoy cooking with others a lot, so maybe that is something to do together. After finishing University I would love to do international theatre projects and maybe move abroad some day, for now Iโve lived in Belgium and Croatia a bit. :) I will be taking my first solo-adventure interrailing through Europe this summer โ๏ธ Iโm very excited and would love to meet some nice people on the way!

For me is Vienna a little bit overated. I was on concert with my female friends and we stay in Vienna for 2 night. The city is pretty, but food and drinks are too expensive. Transfer by taxi is so expensive so I recommend metro.

easy to reach. Museums cost between 10-20โฌ. It may be expensive if you eat in famous places, but I think it is worth a try. This was my second time going and I had so much fun. You can find cheap opera tickets on the ticket gretchen app. I went to the ballet show for 5โฌ.
