Solo travel experience

I went to Argentina alone. I went for a combination of horseback riding and hiking trip in the Patagonia region with a few days in Buenos Aires. I felt very safe. I was advised by locals to stay away from a particular area of Buenos Aires but felt very comfortable throughout the country. It is beautiful and the food is wonderful.

Solo travel experience

Argentina is a very cool country and there’s a lot to visit. Jujuy, Salta, Iguazu Falls, Mendoza, Bariloche. Buenos Aires and Cordoba were my favorite cities. You need to have cash because not all places accept credit cards. I traveled alone and I didn’t have any problem but it’s not the safest country I have visited.

Solo travel experience

I went to Ushuaia, Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Mendoza in Argentina, and took a ferry from Buenos Aires to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay and stayed there for a weekend, then about a week in Montevideo. I never felt at all unsafe - I was staying with an old friend in Montevideo, which even though I was mostly wandering about by myself.
