I imagine that I'll have far better food experiences if my budget was bigger, as Puerto Iguazu is a tourist town. The town itself is average, as it exists mainly as a jumping off point for the world-famous Iguazu Falls. It's spectacular, but entrance is also spendy. Safety wise, I would not walk around at night on my own, so I'm always feeling a bit hypervigilant to get back to the hostel before dark. Otherwise, people are nice and it seems fairly safe. Just observe usual safety precautions with your belongings and decisions.

I'm a student living in Birmingham England, but I love to travel whenever I can! I love yoga and calisthenics style stuff like climbing and pole dancing... I'm obsessed with food, and addicted to cheese... I'm super adventurous and love learning new things. The next trip I have planned is a 3 month adventure packed trip around south America, where I hope to learn to surf 😁😁😁
