Is Lausanne Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Lausanne is a clean and safe but unnecessarily expensive city. There are a couple museums that are free (or cheap) for people under 25 so it makes up for the cost of living ! I would recommend the Rumine Palace.

Very safe just avoid non crowded areas at night if you want to walk around but in my experience I’ve never gotten dangerously harassed in 10 years living here although keep in mind that I’m white and tall so that does go in my way

I feel safe in the street of Lausanne. As a reference, I grew up in Paris. Probably not as safe as in South Korea but still better than most of European cities. I would say it's most of the time really quiet and calm, I never felt insecure

Lausanne is my heart town I love it. I think it’s pretty safe I mean you can let your wallet and Keys and phone and life on your blanket at the beach and come back and everything is still there. (But don’t take the risk) There is no thief or pickpocket. As a woman it is easy to feel unsafe even in Lausanne I have some good and safe places to recommend... But if I compare the city to other ones or very big ones it is safe, Switzerland in general is really safe thanks to how people are calm I guess... However since the illegal demonstration for Palestine the police as been really aggressive and violent, it proves that police is not the thing that will makes you feel safer, (maybe as a tourist...)
