Whenever I go to a café, I just leave my laptop out when usund the toilet or such. Also it is very common for people to leave their strollers (with their baby inside) outside alone. I’ve lived here my whole life and never felt unsafe - not even when going out alone at night.

Denmark is overall very safe - And Fyn is too. There would might be issues ot experience as a nonbonary/trans or Bipoc person, since it is on the countryside, but nothing I’ve heard about. I live in Ollerup 20 min outside Svendborg and it is very local and small and there is a strong community feeling.
