A week long trip wit hmy mother, we stayed at CPH studio hotel, it was very comfortable and close to the metro station and Lidl. near there was also a beach we went to walk by. We visited Tivoli, Glyptotek, and took a boat tour! We also went to eat and shop around. I felt safe because we were sightseeing in the daytime and early evening and i was with my mom, and i took evening walks near CPH studio, overall lovely experience, we were visiting during April and it was very windy so that was annoying at times, and there was a group of guys who i guess tried to talk to me because i had a kiss mark on my cheek as a makeup look, but it was a very quick interaction and it wasnt bothersome, copenhagen felt very safe and me and my mom had a nice time visiting!

I went to Copenhagen with a large group. Honestly, it was EXTREMELY safe ( I am a black woman for reference). There was never even a second that I felt unsafe. I was out with one other person walking back from a dance club at like 3am and there was no sketchy activity or anything that made me look over my shoulder. It was beautiful in the summer. Coming from the US, I believe the exchange rate was about 7 of their DKK was equal to 1 of our USD, and I felt that things were priced pretty appropriately, especially for a city center.
Posted: July 15, 2024Experienced: June, 2022Copenhagen is one of the safest cities I've ever been in, both in crowded and isolated places no one bothered me. Indeed, people are very willing to help and provide useful information. It's very easy to get around the city by walking (but I recommend renting a bike!). It is very expensive, but proportional to the quality of life
Posted: July 10, 2024Experienced: April, 2024I had a gratis time in Copen Hagen. If you like good food go to wallmans circus. When I was there I booked the dinner experience. You get a couple of courses and an awesome show. Every year a different theme. The sights are in good walking distence but you can hire a bike. That is safe and fast. Copenhagen has some thriftstores you can go to. Out of the city centre. You can reach them by bus or with the bike.

I liked Copenhagen very much. It has a beautiful architecture. Its people are truly as happy as they say. It has clean streets, and there are free music events in the evenings in front of the City Council building. People are dancing and having fun. You can see many cyclists. Beer is cheap at the grocery store

Copenhagen, Denmark was an amazing country and experience for my family and I. We all felt incredibly safe, even walking around at night. Since we stayed there for a week, we got the copenhagen card pass which covered multiple attractions and transportation (I highly recommend). The transportation was efficient, on time, and fast, but be prepared to walk plenty nonetheless. We went to plenty of different galleries, and popular tourist sights such as the Amelienborg Palace, Reffen food market, and fun places like Tivol Gardens amusement parks, which I all recommend. If you’d like to know my specific recommendations, where I stayed, and my itinerary, feel free to message me!

The weather was miserable: cold and rainy the entire time, with some snow flurries. Everything is quite expensive, similar to Switzerland. The big food market was really cool, but I got food poisoning from the salmon. I really enjoyed the free walking tour, specifically the politically incorrect one. This trip helped me to decide that I definitely don't want to live in Copenhagen.

Copenhaguen was a very wonderful city, in which I felt 100% safe. I stayed in a hostel near the city centre which was good. The activities to do are very interesting like visiting the royal palaces or the round tower There are many free things to do and ser there like the Little Mermaid statue, Nyhaven port etc The only problem was that it was very expensive especially regarding food

Italy
I really felt safe there. I stayed in a hostel which was my first time. However it was also okay for me. I am not sure how much I spent but it was more expensive compared to Padua, Italy for sure. Me and my friends go to castles and museums and we usually walked to everywhere but it was really exhausting.
Posted: June 13, 2024I felt very safe in Copenhagen, even on public transport (which sometimes doesn’t have a driver! Fascinating experience.) I loved the spirit of the city and felt like it was very diverse and open to people of all kinds of backgrounds. Would absolu recommend!

I would say that Copenhagen is one of the safest places to travel or live as a solo female traveler. I have never experienced anything that has made me feel like I’m in real danger. Its a bit hard to connect with locals unless you take the first step, because Scandinavians are very introverted😅

Copenhagen is a very safe city. Even the bad areas aren’t really that bad, and as a woman I feel totally safe here all day and night, also in the metro etc. It’s very easy to get around to and generally such a lovely city to be in!

Hi. I'm a Danish woman(34) facilitating breathwork and outdoor experiences. I mainly eat plantbased and love cooking. I rock climb and do also climb indoors. I am going on a little hike in Ireland this July sometime between 2nd and 18th. Would love to meet up and enjoy nature together, and maybe crash at your place 😊

Hey sisters! My name is Marilia (she/her), I am 24 years old and I come from Greece 🌱 I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Migration Studies in Copenhagen, Denmark. I love exchanging life experiences and connecting with people through bonds of solidarity and female empowerment. I would be more than happy to help you find your way around Copenhagen ( I know it's so expensive, so some advice from a local is always helpful!). I might also be available for hosting up to one person but my room is rather small (12sqm🥲) but we could figure something out! Hopefully we will meet sometime soon! Travel safe, Marilia 🌸

Hey!! I’m a Brazilian living in Estonia who loves so many things (yoga, beach tennis, climbing) but currently without much time to practice any of them 🥹 Me, my husband and my 2 yo son moved to Tallinn last year and we are still adapting to our new live here but depending on the period we could be keen to accept someone at our place :) I used to do Couchsurfing many years ago across the places I’ve lived - both hosting and staying. Always loved this sort of connection

Hi everyone! Born and living ever since in Zurich. I want to explore a different side of travel, focusing more on hostels, couchsurfing etc. I love to meet up with new travel people - unfortunately can't host as I live with a man ;)
