Safety:Very safe

Larnaca is generally a secure location for solo female travelers. It is a popular tourist destination that has a reputed police force and local population known for their friendliness and hospitality. However, like any tourist spot, it's advised to take normal precautions like avoiding lonely places at night, being aware of your surroundings, and safeguarding your belongings.

Transport:Easy

Larnaca is quite simple to navigate, especially within the city center. You can easily explore its beautiful streets on foot or use public transportation. Rented vehicles and cycling are also popular options. However, during peak tourist season, it might get a bit crowded, but generally, moving around is generally not an issue. From exploring the ancient ruins, such as the Church of Saint Lazarus and Larnaca Fort, to unwinding at pristine beaches, the city has plenty to offer. Additionally, nature lovers can enjoy bird watching at the Larnaca Salt Lake. The city's restaurants provide a taste of exquisite Cypriot cuisine, and art enthusiasts can delve into the local culture at the Pierides Museum. Solo travel experience

Cyprus has my whole heart. I feel like it’s my second home. Not only do i feel incredibly safe and welcome there (more than my own country), it’s just so beautiful. The food, the weather, the cats, the beach, everything. This was my second solo trip to larnaca this year (my first ever solo trip anywhere outside of the UK and Hungary was in February this year, to Larnaca, and i went again a month later). Both times were only for one day, so I’d arrive saturday morning, and come back sunday afternoon. It is absolutely worth it even for a one day werkend getaway. First time i stayed in Finikoudes, this time i stayed in Mackenzie. I definitely prefer Finikoudes, there’s more shops and more to do, but i also liked Mackenzie because of the planes (AvGeek). I ate a halloumi burger in a restaurant on the beach and that was the best halloumi burger of my life. I used buses and Bolt taxis to get around, my Bolt taxi driver was always the same guy and he was very sweet and kind. Overall really good experience.
