My first solo trip was to Cyprus and I loved it. Flew into Larnaca, rented a car (the island is small so it’s possible to see a lot of it in a short time if you have a car) and stayed on both coasts, in Paphos and Paralimni. Gorgeous country. Nicest people. Great food. I went in summer and it was hot (sunscreen and water were essential)/
