Is Brienz safe for solo female travelers?

Brienz is generally considered very safe for solo female travelers. It's a peaceful town with low crime rate. Locals are friendly, helpful and most people speak English. As with any place though, it's always best to take the normal precautions especially in the evenings and while using public transport or visiting secluded areas.
