Only one incident of verbal harassment, and by young men, but likely because my female friend and I snuck a kiss on the escalator in the mall. Luckily I don't understand most Russian, so I just smiled.. she cursed at them 🤣
Posted: February 11, 2025I lived there for 20 years. Tbh this town of eastern Europe makes me feel safer than the french town I live in. I often walked in Chisinau on late nights, literally crossing the whole capital by foot and never had any bad situation (I guess lucky me). Police also have cameras on them, which french police doesn't have unfortunately. If you're in the center or around I would say you're pretty safe.

Hi everyone. I love traveling, but I can't say I'm the most active person)) The quiet places are for me, nature, green, mountains. Sure, there is much to see in the city, but for me it's few days, not more)) I'll rather spend an evening watching a beautiful sunset, then spend a night in a club.
