Tangerang is moderately safe at night. However, like any city, it has its share of concerns. Walking alone at night is generally safe in crowded or well-lit areas with lots of traffic. Overall, while Tangerang's public transport system is generally safe to use, it is crucial to remain alert and secure personal belongings at all times.

I feel safe in this city, traveling to quiet places at night is something I would miss, near my house there is a very famous and busy street food and my city also has an airport, for my expenses for a month it is quite economical if I don't go out a lot because I still live with my parents

The city where I live is quite safe and crime rarely occurs and in several places in my area there are lots of CCTVs to see the surrounding conditions but you have to be careful too, even though I have experienced crime especially when I have entered a quiet area and it is late at night.

I rarely go outside, but I can say it's fairly safe, especially around Alam Sutera. Since it is a good highly-developed neighborhood. However, going outside over 2 AM should be quite considerably a "no", since it is fairly quiet. I considered going back after 1 AM sometimes and never experienced any uncomfortable-ness, even though I use gojek most of the time.
