Is Borneo safe for solo female travelers?

Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to be in touch. The trip I highly recommend is definitely Borneo. It's a large, relatively unvisited island in Southeast Asia where you can connect with locals, learn about the local cuisine, and experience special moments with elephants, orangutans, and crocodiles,etc. Every summer, an event is held in the mountains where more than 50 tribes from the island gather to share dances and food—it's highly recommended.
