Corozal - a small town in Belize, generally maintains lower levels of crime compared to other Central American regions, it is not completely immune to petty crimes. Incidents like pick-pocketing, small scale scams, and bag snatching, can occasionally occur, particularly in more crowded tourist areas. Therefore, it's necessary to take basic precautions such as not displaying expensive items, using guarded parking and being aware of personal belongings and surroundings.
