Is Chittagong safe for women?

Colorism is quite prevalent here so if you're a fair skinned women, expect a lot of unwanted staring and looks from men. I would not recommend traveling here alone. The police are also quite unreliable so your best bet when you need help here would be friends who are locals or other acquaintances.
