Is San Juan safe for solo female travelers?

San Juan is generally safe for solo female travelers, with a good level of local security and a low crime rate. However, it's advisable to always have common preemptive measures like avoiding less crowded or isolated areas, particularly at night. Use a reliable taxi service rather than hailing taxis off the street. Travelers should be mindful of their belongings and surroundings in popular tourist spots due to potential occurrences of pickpocketing.

How safe is San Juan for solo female travelers?

How safe is San Juan for women?

All the downtown area of San Juan, as well as the Capital and Rivadavia districts, are the safest areas. It’s a small city, so after 10 p.m. it’s hard to find public transportation. It’s a calm place — you’ll see grandmothers drinking mate on the sidewalk at night, and children playing in the streets on Sundays in residential neighborhoods. It’s a very peaceful and safe city, but also very traditional, so try not to dress too extravagantly. Also, keep in mind that it’s unlikely you’ll find people who speak English on the street, and in general it’s rare to come across foreigners. Don’t worry...

San Juan I safely in regular basis, you just need to know that there areas far no the and far south that are very dangerous mainly at night, and also some times during day time. The safest is to move around the capital city area y surroundings.
